Use the exact format you received: Xtream Codes, M3U playlist, or a portal-based setup.
Let live TV, EPG and VOD finish syncing, then test a few categories before changing settings.
These guides cover the same major device families as the reference you supplied, but the instructions and layout are rebuilt for EagleCast TV and organized around the actual login method a customer receives.

Usually three values: server/portal URL, username, and password. Many players use this to organize Live TV, Movies, Series and EPG automatically.

A single playlist URL. It works with many players and is especially useful for VLC or apps that ask for “M3U URL” / “Remote playlist.”
https://server.example/get.php?...Used mainly with MAG, TVIP, some Formuler workflows and STB-style setups. You may need a portal URL plus the device MAC shown on the box.
https://portal.example/Do not post your full M3U URL, username, password, portal URL, or device identifiers in public comments, forums, or screenshots.
Use an IPTV player available for Fire TV. If your preferred player is not in the Amazon Appstore, only sideload it from a source you trust.
Android mobile devices are one of the simplest places to test credentials because you can install a compatible player directly from Google Play.
For televisions and boxes running Android TV or Google TV, use a remote-friendly player from Google Play whenever possible.
Smart TV app availability changes by TV model, operating system, country, and app-store policy, so the first step is always to see what compatible player is actually available on your television.
Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD can install apps from the tvOS App Store. Older Apple TV hardware without an App Store cannot install modern third-party IPTV players.
iPhone and iPad setup is similar to Android: install a compatible player from the App Store, then add the login EagleCast sent you.
Windows is useful for testing because VLC can open an M3U network stream directly, while dedicated IPTV players can provide categories and EPG.
On macOS, VLC is a simple way to test an M3U URL, while dedicated IPTV players can offer guide data, favorites, and VOD browsing.
Chromecast with Google TV can install apps directly. Older Chromecast models generally rely on casting from a phone, tablet, or computer.
Portal-based set-top boxes use a different setup from regular apps. You normally add a portal URL and, when required, provide the box MAC address to support.
Formuler devices commonly use a TV-optimized player such as MyTVOnline. Depending on the subscription format, you may add a portal, Xtream Codes account, or M3U playlist.
Enigma2 receivers are advanced setups. They normally use a provider script, M3U/bouquet workflow, or an Enigma2 plugin rather than a normal TV app.
EagleCast is the service; the IPTV player is the interface. Different players can make the same subscription feel very different.
On Fire TV, Android TV, Google TV and Smart TVs, choose an app designed for a remote rather than a phone interface stretched onto a television.
Do not install a player that only accepts M3U if you want to use an Xtream login—or vice versa—unless you know how to convert the workflow.
Prefer official app stores and official publisher downloads. Avoid random “premium cracked” APKs, bundles, or websites asking you to upload credentials.
EPG, favorites, subtitles, multiple audio tracks, VOD search, catch-up and casting support vary by player.
| Platform | Best install path | Common login | Good first check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fire TV | Amazon Appstore / trusted APK route | Xtream / M3U | App + 5 GHz Wi-Fi or Ethernet |
| Android / Google TV | Google Play | Xtream / M3U | TV-friendly interface |
| Samsung / LG | TV's official app store | Xtream / M3U / app activation | App availability for your model |
| Apple TV / iPhone / iPad | App Store | Xtream / M3U | tvOS/iOS compatibility |
| Windows / macOS | Official publisher / app store | M3U / Xtream | VLC test + dedicated player if needed |
| MAG / TVIP | Built-in portal settings | Portal + MAC | Correct portal & registered MAC |
| Enigma2 | SSH / FTP / receiver plugin | Script / bouquet | Use current provider instructions |
Use the symptom that matches what you see. This avoids random changes that can make a working configuration harder to diagnose.
Retype the server URL, username and password. Remove spaces before/after fields and make sure the server URL includes the correct protocol and port if one was supplied.
Wait for the first sync, then refresh the playlist. Confirm the account is active and that the player supports the exact login format you used.
Refresh EPG separately, verify the device time zone, and restart the player. A time offset is often a local setting rather than a stream issue.
Test Ethernet or strong 5 GHz Wi-Fi, restart router/device, pause heavy downloads, and compare several channels before assuming the entire service is affected.
Compare the player, app version, network and login method. The subscription can be fine while one device or app is misconfigured.
Do not force the old app. Choose another compatible player from the official store or move to an external streaming device with stronger app support.
Send the details that let someone reproduce the problem.
These links explain how each platform installs apps or handles trusted software. They do not replace your EagleCast credentials.
Have your EagleCast activation message ready. Depending on the device/player, it may contain Xtream Codes details (server URL, username and password), an M3U playlist URL, or a portal URL for a set-top box. You also need a stable internet connection and a compatible player.
Use the format supplied with your subscription and supported by your player. Xtream Codes is convenient in players that separate live TV, movies, series and EPG. M3U is widely compatible and is especially useful for VLC and players that ask for a playlist URL.
Retype the details manually and check for spaces before or after the username, password and server URL. Make sure you did not swap the username and password fields. If the same credentials fail on more than one compatible player, contact support.
First wait for the initial playlist sync. Then use the player's refresh or update playlist option. If it still shows zero categories, verify the server/M3U URL and confirm your subscription is active.
The EPG may sync separately from the channel playlist. Refresh the EPG inside the player, check your device time zone, and leave the app open long enough for the first guide import. A one-hour offset is usually a time-zone setting rather than a channel problem.
Test the same channel on Ethernet or strong 5 GHz Wi-Fi, pause other heavy downloads, restart the router and device, and compare several channels/categories. One problematic stream does not automatically mean the entire service or account is failing.
You can usually install the login on more than one compatible device, but simultaneous viewing limits depend on the plan. Check the current pricing page or ask support before playing multiple streams at the same time.
App availability varies by TV model, country and operating system. Use another compatible player from the official store or connect an external Fire TV, Google TV/Android TV, Apple TV or other supported streaming device rather than relying on an unsupported app.
Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD support App Store downloads. Older Apple TV models without the App Store cannot install modern third-party players; use AirPlay from a compatible iPhone/iPad app or another streaming device.
Only if the exact player you need is being installed outside the Amazon Appstore. Prefer the official Appstore when possible. If sideloading is necessary, follow current Fire TV instructions and use only an APK/source you trust.
Recheck the portal URL, reboot the box and router, and confirm that the MAC address registered with support matches the box. Do not randomly change the MAC address or portal values.
No. Treat your IPTV credentials like account credentials. Do not post screenshots containing full URLs, usernames, passwords, portal URLs or device identifiers publicly. Send sensitive setup details only through EagleCast's official support channel.
Android/Google TV, Fire TV, Apple TV and modern Smart TVs are usually the most straightforward because they can install a player through an app store. The best device for you is the one you already use comfortably and that has a compatible player.
Contact support after you have confirmed the credentials, internet connection and player setup but still cannot log in or load a playlist. Include your device model, app/player name, login method and the exact error message—without posting your password publicly.
That is faster than saying “IPTV does not work.” We can point you to the correct setup path without making you repeat every step.
